| Interests: | RIC |
| Favorite Music: | I find myself flipping between our local rock stations and "the Z" (Orlando's Christian music station) in the car constantly...the DJ's on our local rock stations are too foul for my taste even though I love that hard rock music!RIC |
| Favorite Books: | Right now, I am reading the Bible from cover to cover...just started the book of Jeremiah. RIC |
| Heroes: | First and foremost, Jesus is my ultimate hero! My kids amaze me as well...they're great, and I'm honored that God has blessed me with them!RIC |
| My Philosophy on God: | Without God, I am nothing. He's holding my hand even when I forget he's there. He blesses me in ways I don't even realize. He is the Ultimate. He takes better care of me than I do; I am eternally grateful to Him for everything, especially for His grace and patience and understanding with me. RIC |
| My Philosophy on What Happens After I Die: | God never goes back on His Word. He has promised all of us eternal life with Him through faith in Jesus Christ. I think that Heaven is all about God. I think it is a place where people will finally put God first in everything and worship Him eternally and God will bless His people with abundance forever. I think Heaven is eternally peaceful and happy. Dying is going to be scary for me, but because of God's gift of grace through faith in Christ, I do not have to be scared when I die. I think it will be like jumping off the diving board into the deep end of the pool for the first time...you feel so scared and then you finally do it and when it's all over you think, "well that wasn't scary at all!" | My Philosophy on Why I Exist: | God created each one of us as special and unique human beings. We all exist to please God and serve His purpose. Sometimes, I let my own purpose get in the way. In this respect, I have failed the very being who took a unique moment of His precious time to create me special. However, God has NEVER failed me. When I stumble, He picks me up; when I think He's not with me, I look up the path to see that He is ahead of me, waiting for me to catch up. (And when I get there, He smiles .) Many times, I have looked back down the path and I realize that even though I felt I was alone, there was NO WAY that I would have gotten through except God. I know (through faith and by experience) that God is eternally patient and His love is unconditional. I aim to please God and serve His will; I exist for Him. I exist for Him. Without Him, I am nothing. With Him, I have everything. RIC |
| My Philosophy on The Nature of Truth: | The Truth is all around us, and the Truth is God. People in this world are always trying to rewrite truth. People are always searching for truth. The Truth is in the Bible. The Bible is life's handy manual. Why are we always searching for something that's already there? RIC |
