| My Philosophy on God: | Without God, I am nothing. He's holding my hand even when I forget he's there. He blesses me in ways I don't even realize. He is the Ultimate. | My Philosophy on What Happens After I Die: | God never goes back on His Word. He has promised all of us eternal life with Him through faith in Jesus Christ. I think that Heaven is all about God. I think it is a place where people will finally put God first in everything and worship Him eternally and God will bless His people with abundance forever. I think Heaven is eternally peaceful and happy. Dying is going to be scary for me, but because of God's gift of grace through faith in Christ, I do not have to be scared when I die. I think it will be like jumping off the diving board into the deep end of the pool for the first time...you feel so scared and then you finally do it and when it's all over you think, "well that wasn't scary at all!" You have adorable kids and looks like they are having quite a blast at the beach. I have always wanted to live at the beach but hurricans scare the living daylights outta me so I doubt I could actually feel safe there. Do you live around the beach or at it? Do you ever get hurricanes there? How do you cope if so? I know its beautiful but the whole hurricane thing just scares me. Well so do volcanos too. Its probably great just you and God out there spending time together while you get a kid-break so you can read a little and unwind. Peace. RIC

Actually no I haven't seen it-
yet. I really can't wait to though. I can't image the beauty of standing there actually seeing one of God's fingerprints in person. It must have really been something to see. I am a single, disabled mom and doubt that I will ever get to see it due to finances
. But it would be a dream come true to see and a trip to remember for the kids. Its just so huge and vast and probably just like all the pictures I have seen. Overwhelming and would probably make me cry honestly
. Just the whole realization that He can do something that great. Thats a pretty big God who can make things like that
. Now if I could just get him to make me a huge chocolate chip cookie
like that, I'd be jumping for joy. LOL

Hey Anne-
Try to keep your head up, and NOT let others' comments get to you. I have certainly disagreed with some of the blogs people have wrote, and my views on things are somewhat more liberal than most of the opinions expressed on the TCW boards. BUT when you have a legitimate disagreement with what someone believes, you are able to express your viewpoint with intelligent reasoning,and without becoming loud, arguementative, and offensive, with all the put downs. They get that way b/c they see that what they are doing is WRONG, and are getting all defensive about it, and their consciences are bothering them. So they are all using you as their whipping post instead of dealing with their own guilty consciences caused by the dirt that they are doing, and the irresponsible choices they have made/are making. I am at a point in my life, which I think you have to get to at least your 30s to reach for the most part, where if anyone has any serious problems with my beliefs, and/or how I choose to live MY life, then that is THEIR PROBLEM, and I dismiss it as such. If they were so happy with their lives, they wouldn't have to get their kicks from trying to hurt you. Take myself and Wendy as a perfect example.(Not to bust on Wendy, I have a great deal of respect for her, and think she's a great gal.) BUT, her beliefs are CONSIDERABLY more conservative than my own. BUT we state our respective opinions respectfully, EVEN SO WE DISAGREE MOST OF THE TIME, without trashing and bashing one another. That is commonly called BEING AN ADULT, which is sadly lost on most people nowadays. Anyway, I hope that you and your family are all well. Take care, and God bless.

Hey Sweetie ~ Thanks for stopping in to see me. Life has been alittle crazy and I have had not much time to get on here. I am doing good and so is the family, we have just been busy. Today we went and did the normal shopping for the Groceries and then to my sisters for a game of baseball with all the kids and then a cook out. It was a fun filled day and what a work out for us older ones, lol. We are all sore,lol! Well, I need to get to bed so I won't be dragging butt at church in the morning.
