Favorite Music:	all we listen to is the christian radio station. there's too much out there that i don't want my kids to hear on the secular stations. but we do listen to a lot of jonas brothers with my 8.5 year old in the house! lolRIC
Favorite Books:	i'm a crazy self-help book kind of person. anything to help me have better realtionships with my family, my kids, my parenting, my God, then that's what i'm reading!RIC
Heroes:	my dad is my all-time favorite hero because of his strong work ethic. he never gives up on anything! he was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis a few years ago, but he still built he and my mom's dream cabin with his own bare hands! that's love and dedication and never giving up even when it literally hurts!!RIC
My Philosophy on God:	he is amazing and good and tries his hardest to make us notice him!! you can see him in everything if you open your eyes and really look! he sent his son to die for my sins so that i could be presented in heaven as wholly righteous and pure!RIC
My Philosophy on What Happens After I Die:	since i am a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, then i will wake up to gates of pearly white and be greeted by Jesus who will welcome me with the biggest hug and walk me into my eternal home!!RIC
My Philosophy on Why I Exist:	i exist solely for God's pleasure. whatever he wants for me is what i will do. my life was created to serve and worship him so that others will be able to follow me to heaven.RIC
My Philosophy on The Nature of Truth:	there is black and there is white. there is no middle ground. what's good for you is okay as long it doesn't hurt anyone is a load of crap. if it's against what the bible says is right, then it's wrong. it's really very simple!RIC

@nite I just don't think my heart was in the study. I will have to share some details of our little charity drive with you, as I find some of it disheartening. I think that's what upset me most of all, besides not feeling great. I think our hearts were in the right place. You and I are givers and I think God loves that about us. We give of ourselves cheerfully and without reservation. I think this is just one of those times when the world is stomping on that. I pray that we will have better descernment when it comes to this kind of thing and I promise to share the details with you soon.

hey! yep, in milwaukee! it just started getting to be fall weather this week--50s and 60s. i actually love it, as i was tired of the hot!! i get anxious at the end of each season to break out my next part of my limited wardrobe... :) i will be hoping you continue to adapt to cold winters. try to look at it in a positive light!! :) remember, God gave us seasons to enjoy, so be glad that you live in an area that gets them. (easier said than done come the middle of winter, i know...) RIC

What a great friend I have in you!!! I think friends are God's way to show us how much he cares for us. Your encouragement makes me able to go thru with this nutty plan we have for me to do women's minestry. SERIOUSLY!!! I've been writing devotions just from thoughts that pop into my head and it's not hard to find the scriptures to back them all up. I can't wait to share on those off weeks from Beth Moore. RIC
