Hi cloth! I'm one of the people who helped to create this site. Nice to see your interest in creation care, that's really cool. This past week, my wife and I did some traveling in southeastern Oklahoma which caused us to appreciate the majesty and creativity of our awesome God! RIC

I am seeking Your face, living in Your grace, I am clay within Your hands. In Your presence itâs so hard to stay, Hardness comes when all things fall away. When people say itâs wrong to stay so long in You. I say the one thing I need to do is worship You. Oh, Jesus. Oh, Jesus, You are God and You are King. I worship You, not for the things that You do, But just because Youâre You. King of kings, Lord of lords, Alpha and Omega. I worship You just because Youâre You. cloth Oct 5 2006 RIC

If His Life Was Not So Divine He loved us as a human race, even though we were self-disgraced. What love could He find here to see? He even gave His life to set us free. If His life was not so divine, What lie could we have here to find? He died and rose, and in Him we trust. Through His death the battle was won, But the war is far from done. Follow Him when we are weak And follow Him when we are strong. Ask Him to give us the strength to carry on. As we live in Him our paths are made straight For this is the one with the hands that create. cloth October 17 2006 RIC

sorry you had such a rough time cloth. I would encourage you to look into what God is doing through our generation. I believe he is raising up a new generation of leaders to bring church back to its roots of authenticity. Check into what is happening in the emerging and alternative church communities. You can't buy into all of it but if you look with a searching and prayerful heart, God may lead you to start some new thing that is authentic, a safe place for true seekers, and a new vital representation of a New Testament Community of faith! I write this with a prayer for you and your family. God bless. RIC

pstrjp, very well said and Godspeed in your search for the truth. Have no fear my friend for the truth of Christ reveals itself through His Holy Spirit to the faithful seeker of it. When the clutter of the doctrine according to men is swept from your mind it's truth will be fulfilled in your heart. God bless you and your family, brother philip RIC

Hi there, cloth! Thanks for adding me. You seem to be going through some of the same things I have wrestled with as a pastor. I have just resigned my church and My family and I are seeking to become "tentmaker" missionaries in our own country. We desire to allow God to use us to develop an "organic" church that grows out of the culture we feel we are a part of. The church should be a community of faith that is a safe place for people to experience the presence and power of God. Not a static institution that breeds dysfunctional relationships, half hearted and superstitious theology, and a unhealthy and unbiblical dependence on the spiritual life of this guy we call the "pastor". Well, thats my heart. Keep seeking, wrestle with God, scream at him, cry to him, love at him, love in him...let him love through you. Christ IS...don't let the "church" tell you different! RIC

And I thank God for you also my brother in Christ. How long have you been in Bible School cloth? I enjoyed your "Embrace Prayer", very good job. I would like to answer your question on Faith/Religion but it would take more than a few lines to give you my perspective on this tragedy that you have become aware of where as many Christians are in the dark concerning this. By the way, the Organized Churches are certainly not making anyone aware of this because not only would it bring an ill light upon their particular denomination but to all of the others as well. Do not let it get to you, come to understand the problems surrounding this and keep your eyes fixed on Christ and He will lead you in the right direction. God bless you my friend, brother philip RIC

The Embrace I Cannot Find: My Friend, come to me; I need You. In the stillness I stand fast, waiting for Your whisper, but Your whisper does not come. I wait for the press of Your lips, but Your lips do not press. I scream for Your holy embrace, but Your embrace does not come. Time feels so long, alone, without You, but You say its short. Help me to see through my tears, oh Lord, to see the kindness on Your sweet face. Help me, my Friend, my only friend, to find the embrace I cannot find. Years have gone by and time has slipped away. Now I sit in Your presence, steadfast, waiting for Your still whisper, the press Your lips, and Your embrace, yet You have not returned, but Your presence is stronger now. In Your presence I hear Your still whisper. I feel Your lips. Though my eyes still have tears, they are tears of joy. I see the radiance on Your face more clearly than before. Thank you, my Friend, my only Friend. In Your presence I have found what I have been looking for, Your most holy embrace. cloth RIC
